NEC Display Solutions is proud to offer enhanced service programs and extended warranties for all of its visual display products.
 
NEC Display Service+ Program
Within the Warranty Period:
Our Service+ Program allows you to enhance your service support by upgrading from a repair and return program to an Advanced Exchange or Onsite Exchange model.  The program allows you to customize your service and support options, enabling your business to run smoothly by minimizing your downtime and maximizing your productivity.
If You Need Service: Call 1-800-632-4662 and have your NEC model number and serial number available. A customer service representative will be available (Monday – Friday, 7AM – 7PM CT). The administrator may perform telephone troubleshooting and diagnosis of the product failure. If your covered product is deemed defective by the administrator, you will be given procedures to obtain appropriate service for your covered product. You may be asked to provide proof of purchase as a condition for receiving service from NEC Display Solutions
Next Business Day Exchange: This program is available for desktop LCD displays, large-screen LCD displays* and all mobile, portable and installation projectors.
Our Advanced Exchange with Overnight Freight Service upgrades your support from the standard repair-only warranty and replaces the defective unit within one (1) business day. Advanced Exchange Overnight Service allows your customers to continue working without interruption by having NEC Display Solutions ship your customer a replacement unit before the defective unit is sent in for repair.
Next Business Day Onsite Exchange: This program is available for desktop LCD displays, large-screen LCD displays* and all mobile, portable and installation projectors.
Our Onsite Exchange with Overnight Freight Service allows for the exchange of a defective unit with a comparable new or refurbished unit to be replaced by a technician at your location within one (1) business day of your phone call.
*Service+ upgrades are intended for corporate and commercial monitor use only and are not to be used for residential displays.

NEC Display Extended Warranty Program
Unrivaled service and protection to extend the life of your displays
The livelihood and success of your company depends on the productivity of its employees and reliability of its technology. To help your business achieve its goals, NEC Display Solutions offers a wide selection of high-performance desktop monitors and public information displays, while providing comprehensive service and support. To ensure that your monitors–and your business–continue to run smoothly, we've designed our NEC Display Solutions extended service plans

Our extended service plans are available for an additional one to two years beyond the end of the manufacturer's warranty period. These extended plans cover all parts and labor that are available under the original warranty, as well as power surge protection. You may also purchase an extended warranty for a previously purchased product, as long as at least 90 days remain on the manufacturer's warranty.

If You Need Service: Call 800.834.6127 and have your service contract available. A customer service representative will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The administrator may perform telephone troubleshooting and diagnosis of the product failure. If your covered product is deemed defective by the administrator, you will be given procedures to obtain appropriate service for your covered product. You may be asked to provide proof of purchase as a condition for receiving service under this service contract.

Repair & Return Coverage: This coverage is available on our large-screen LCD displays 32” and larger.
Our repair and return service requires you to return your defective NEC product to our designated service location for repair. Our service location will repair your unit within three (3) business days. This does not include in-transit shipping time to or from our service location. If it is determined that you need a shipping carton and label for your covered product, we will provide them to you. We will pay for all shipping costs (2-day air) for all LCD displays 32” and larger. Once your covered product has been repaired, it will be shipped back to your location.
Next Business Day Exchange: This coverage is available on desktop monitors, large-screen LCDs and medical monitors.
This coverage allows you to receive a replacement product of the same make and model, if available, after your product has been deemed a defective unit by NEC. If the same make and model is unavailable, the defective unit will be replaced with a product of like kind and similar features. The replacement product will be sent to you for next business day delivery. If you call service before 3pm Eastern Time, the product will be shipped out the same day; otherwise, it will be shipped out the next business day. Shipping will only be available during regular business hours, local time, Monday through Friday and excluding holidays. You will be responsible for re-installing the replacement product.

Additionally, you will be responsible for un-installing the defective product and shipping it to the designated service location. For LCDs 32” and larger, we will be responsible for the shipping costs of the replacement product to you and for the return shipping costs of the defective product to the designated location. For desktop and medical monitors, we will be responsible for the shipping costs of the replacement product to you, and you will be responsible for the return shipping cost of the defective product to the designated location. You will use the replacement product box to ship the defective product back to the designated location.

Next Business Day Onsite Exchange: This coverage is available for desktop monitors and large-screen LCD monitors. This coverage is NOT available on medical monitors.
This coverage allows you to receive a replacement product of the same make and model, if available, after your product has been deemed a defective unit by NEC. If the same make and model is unavailable, the defective unit will be replaced with a product of like kind and similar features. The replacement product will be sent to you for next business day delivery. If you call service before 3pm Eastern Time, the product will be shipped out the same day; otherwise, it will be shipped out the next business day. Shipping will only be available during regular business hours, local time, Monday through Friday and excluding holidays.

With Onsite Exchange, we will arrange for an authorized service provider to un-install the defective unit and install the replacement product. Once you have received the replacement product, contact the administrator. The authorized service provider will come to your location to provide the exchange service. The authorized service provider will be responsible for arranging to have the defective product sent back to the service center. Onsite Service will be provided during regular business hours, local time, Monday through Friday, except holidays.

Power Surge Protection
Power Surge Coverage is available on all our extended warranty programs. This coverage commences upon the expiration of the shortest portion of the manufacturer’s original warranty. This service contract protects against operational or mechanical failure of a covered product resulting from a power surge while properly connected to a surge protector approved by the underwriter’s laboratory. Your surge protector may be collected by the administrator for examination.

PLEASE REFER TO SPECIFIC STATE DISCLOSURES TO CONFIRM ANY INDIVIDUAL STATE REQUIREMENTS. THOSE INDIVIDUAL STATE DISCLOSURES SUPERSEDE ANY OTHER PROVISIONS IN THIS SERVICE CONTRACT TO THE CONTRARY.
