I updated my video adapter card and/or drivers, and now Windows is asking me for the location of the MONI2C.SYS and DTNF93K.INF files. Where can I find these files?
The MONI2C.SYS is already installed in your \SYSTEM32\DRIVERS directory. The DTNF93K.INF is already installed in your \SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\COLOR directory. You can also uninstall and reinstall NaViSet to locate these files automatically.
I have a video display adapter card that uses the ATI Radeon chipset, but was not manufactured by ATI. Will it work with NaViSet?
Does NaViSet support using multiple monitors?
Yes, as long as all of the monitors are supported, and all of the video display adapter and drivers support DDC/CI.
How can I get NaViSet to show the changes I made using the On Screen Display?
Reopen NaViSet, and your changes will show.
The NaViSet control panel looks strange. Is anything wrong?
If some of the icons and pictures in the NaViSet control panel don’t match the background color, or have a gray rectangle around them, select a different appearance scheme in the Windows 2000 Display Properties Appearance tab.
Do you have any plans to support NaViSet on Windows 95, 98, 98SE or ME?
No. These operating system versions use different drivers architecture that is not compatible with the DDC/CI driver.
Do you have any plans to support NaViSet on Windows XP x64 or Vista x64?
Yes, we are currently planning support for these versions of Windows.
Why can’t I change the brightness and contrast in "sRGB" mode?
In order for sRGB to be correctly supported, the brightness and contrast controls are locked to specific values.
How can I display a NaViSet test pattern on my second monitor?
Drag the NaViSet control panel to the second display and select a test pattern.
Can I use NaViSet with display rotation settings available on some video graphics drivers?
Yes, but NaViSet does not pivot all the geometry options, so some geometry controls for left and right adjustment will provide vertical and horizontal adjustments, and vice versa.
How often do I need to calibrate my monitor?

In general, we recommend calibrating every 2 weeks. You may choose to calibrate more often, based on how critical color accuracy is for you, how long the monitor is used per day, environmental conditions and the characteristics of your individual monitor.

To check whether your monitor needs to be calibrated, use the Colorimeter tool. (Remember to let the monitor warm up and reach optimum color performance first.)
