In the United States, the proper disposal of electronic waste is an increasingly growing environmental concern, with many state governments banning disposal of certain types of electronic waste in local landfills. With the growing concern over the potential disposal of broken or used electronic devices, NEC understands our customers’ desire to minimize the environmental impact of their old electronic products by eliminating these devices from the waste stream. As part of our expanding environmental initiative, NEC has implemented a recycling program to help current owners of NEC products see that those devices are properly handled at end-of-life.
Residents of the U.S. and Canada: To recycle your NEC products, please call our customer service center at 800.632.4662. Please have the model and serial number information available for the product you wish to recycle. Based on location, shipping fees may be applicable.
