We are currently seeking a Senior Field Sales Engineer - Solution Sales for our Eastern US territory. The candidate will be located anywhere within the eastern US. Responsibilities: |

The successful candidate will support various NEC sales teams conducting consultative display solutions sales processes including engineering enterprise digital signage. Will conduct demonstrations and assist with installations. Responsibilities also include territory support activities such as trade shows, training, and sales seminars for end users, Pro AV partners, Reseller partners and Distribution Channel partners.
Solutions include, but are not limited to: Flat panel displays, video walls, projectors, wall ceiling or floor mounting, desktop mounting, PC/media players, video cards, cabling and distribution, content management software, display enclosures, touch screens, etc. Candidate will work out of their east coast based at-home office, and travel as required throughout territory.

- Responsible for final design of all large Solution Sales client based projects.
- Assist in field site surveys and field project management for large scale projects.
- Make recommendations on any and all components that are a part of solution design to increase NEC Sales margins and/or improve system design.
- Work with Project Engineers and Project Managers to generate cost effective Engineered Solutions quotations.
- Understand and communicate NEC’s Display Solution Sales strategy to customers, partners and channel.
- Be well versed in all NEC and Solution Partner’s products in order to effectively generate engineered systems and answer field technical questions.
- Provide technical support to clients on NEC installed systems.
- Conduct display solutions product training, enforcing the benefits of complete solution.

| Qualifications: |

| |
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronic/Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Position requires minimum 7 years sales experience within the digital signage or Pro-AV industry.
- Video wall and multi-screen system sales and installation experience.
- Understanding of LAN/WAN networks and principles required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills are essential.
- Experience with complete solutions/application sales and project management is preferred.
- PC channel sales knowledge is a plus.
- Pro AV Systems Integration experience is a plus.
- Content management software sales experience is a plus.
- Knowledge or understanding of equipment installations and their relation to the complete solution sale is a plus.
- Requires 40% overnight travel.
